When younger, he suffered from depression that ranged from mild to severe, and was not one to smile or talk a lot. He usually only speaked when spoken to, or when he felt it's 100% necessary to say. After the death of his mother, Arufa developed PTSD, having numerous nightmares of her death and waking up to wash the hand that her blood splattered on. He also occasionally ignored his fellow classmates whenever he passed by them. Thinking it would ease his pain, he began doing more and more missions for the Diamyo. During his time in it however, he gained a reputation for his cold-bloodedness, mercilessly killing a shinobi instead of sparing him for interrogation.

These days, Arufa has a rather solitary, and matter-of-fact attitude. His calm and detached demeanour has been called "cool, hip, and trendy" many times by villagers. Despite his increasingly growing reputation and prowess as a ninja, Arufa has shown no signs of arrogance, and is rather modest about his abilities, as shown when he readily praises others for leaps in their combat abilities. His naturally calm attitude is used to his advantage in battle, as it becomes easier for him to maintain his composure and stay focused on the situation at hand, and notice everything around him. Even in near-death situations, Arufa is able to stay collected and resourceful. As a result, he can quickly adjust to any situation to make keen and thought-out decisions, allowing him to stay steps ahead of his opponents.

Despite his usually stoic demeanour, Arufa does have an emotional side. True to his words, Arufa as an adult is fiercely loyal to his allies and quick to acknowledge a situation requiring assistance. He is likewise open to people changing. The death of his mother made him feel the need to save all of the citizens from her fate.

Arufa is a fit and relatively tall shinobi, with long black hair, and has grey-coloured eyes. Since his first jounin mission, he obtained a vertical scar running over his left eye. He is easily distinguishable by his signature hooded grey cloak, thin build, and lightly armored outfit, which contain an armor-to-cloth ratio of about 50-50. His cloth is grey while his armor is black. He is said to have lifeless eyes.

Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu - Body Replacement Technique

This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack. Exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. Basically all ninja know this technique.

This technique creates intangible copies of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something. The illusions can be seen through by the Byakugan and the Sharingan. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.).

This jutsu allows the user to transform either themselves or another object into the appearance of another person, animal, or object. The transformation technique is considered to be among the more difficult E-ranked techniques, since it requires constant emission of chakra while mentally maintaining the form. On top of that, the user would be, most likely, interacting with the environment. This puts much mental strain on an inexperienced ninja.The transformation would be dispelled when the user is injured or hit.

This jutsu allows the user to eject snakes from their wrist or sleeve, usually after a punching motion. The snakes are used primarily to attack from a distance and, being snakes, can inflict multiple poisonous wounds on the victim's body or hold them in place. This jutsu can be used with other parts of the body besides the arms.

Name: Saikan Choushutsu no Jutsu - Delicate Illness Extraction Technique

When a person has been afflicted by a pathogen or toxin, this medical ninjutsu can be used to draw out the agent and heal the damage. The cause of the illness is first determined by perceiving disturbances in the patient's chakra. Then, using a scalpel, an incision is made into the affected part. Using their chakra, the medical-nin then draws out the agent, while simultaneously repairing the damage it caused.

After the agent is drawn out, it can be used to create an antidote or medicine, which can then be given to the patient to ensure a complete recovery. This technique requires the utmost care and ability in diagnosis and incising and unmatched chakra control. Therefore, it is considered an extremely difficult technique, even among medical ninjutsu.

With this technique, the user can release a torrent of countless snakes from their mouth, forming a wall of snakes. The snakes will then rise and rush towards his target, being almost impossible to stop or evade. While crawling together the snakes form a defensive wall blocking almost any attack.

Name: Kage Bunshin no Jutsu - Shadow Clone Technique.

Similar to the Bunshin no Jutsu , this jutsu creates clones of the user. But unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. They can also disperse on their own. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original.

Unlike other clone techniques, they can't be detected by the Byakugan because the clones have the exact same amount of chakra and aren't made from any other substance, making them indistinguishable from the actual person.

This technique is a was developed for spying with grisly effects. The user applies their hand onto the subject's face, stealing its features and making it their own. The victims this technique are reduced to faceless corpses atrocious even to look at. The user can change their voice to be like that of the victims, making a very convincing copy.

The Rasengan does not require any hand seals to use, relying only on the chakra control of the user. Once it is complete, it becomes self-sustaining. The compacted nature and moving speed of the chakra allows the Rasengan to grind into whatever it comes in contact with, inflicting major damage. This also tends to launch the target backward once hit.

This jutsu channels a large amount of lightning chakra to the user's hand. The amount of chakra is so great that it becomes visible. The high concentration of electricity produces a sound reminiscent of many birds chirping, hence the name. Once the technique is completed, the user charges forward and thrusts the Chidori into the target. This produces heavy amounts of damage that is usually fatal. This technique is classified as an assassination technique because of the speed at which it is performed, despite the loud noise it produces, This jutsu has a major drawback, however. The speed at which the attack must be done, combined with the fact that the user must run in a straight line, causes a tunnel vision-like effect for the user. This allows the enemy to easily counter the attack, making it a potentially lethal move for the user.

The fireball is normally blown through a ring made by the thumb and index finger of the user.

Like the flames they can be controlled with chakra. For the most part, however, this technique is used as a distraction.

The flames have a high temperature, as they can create an updraught which in turn can give rise to thunder butts. A master of this technique can fire off several flames in succession. Anyone caught in the technique could potentially be reduced to ashes.
